After a shaky start to the day’s weather – the afternoon sun shone on architect’s and realtors day at the green showcase. Congrats to our tour guides who did a great job today. The showcase continues all weekend – don’t wait in line – sign up for a tour time.

The green home in Jericho is completely finished and ready for our big Green Showcase this coming weekend. This video shows that green is not only energy efficient but it is beautiful. Recycled materials are no longer cheap looking – these high end items are georgeous.

A Solar Sync ET system from Hunter Industries was installed on the grounds of 53 Mellow Ln in Jericho NY by B&D Rain Systems based in Melville NY. This advanced system monitors the temperature, humidty and rainfall at the location and properly adjusts the amount of water used by the in-ground sprinkler system. Just in case you were wondering ET doesn’t stand for extra terrestrial but for evapotranspiration.
