Beautiful Bright and Green
Here’s a gallery of photos of our Kohler fixtures
provided by Long Island’s premier plumbing supplier
Davis & Warshow
Besides being beautiful all these fixtures are low flow. But this is not your grandfather’s low flow – it is less water used with no decrease in water pressure. The sinks in the kitchen and bath are cast iron. They too are from recycled materials and are indestructible. They won’t dull, scratch or chip. Green is forever.
See all these and more at our

Just the right amount of water for the lawn at the green home in Jericho
Saving water is as important to the green home in Jericho as saving energy. A Solar Sync ET system from Hunter Industries was installed on the grounds of 53 Mellow Ln in Jericho NY by B&D Rain Systems based in Melville NY. This advanced system monitors the temperature, humidty and rainfall at the location and properly adjusts the amount of water used by the in-ground sprinkler system. Just in case you were wondering ET doesn’t stand for extra terrestrial but for evapotranspiration. Since a picture is worth a thousand words here is the picture explaining evapotranspiration in Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evapotranspiration
Even the White Fence is Green at the Green Home in Jericho

Indoor air quality in the green home in Jericho
VOC’s (Volatile ogranic compounds) are gases that escape from certain solids or liquids. It’s evident in the smell from paint, floor finishes, carpet or furniture. They adversely affect indoor air quality for days, months and sometimes years. Green is not only low energy requirements and low water use, green is also about healthy living spaces. How does the green home in Jericho promote a more healthy living space? It does so by using paint and floor finishes certified GREENGUARD by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute and independent nonprofit that establishes acceptable indoor air standards for indoor products, environments, and buildings. The choices for the green home in Jericho were Sherwin Williams Progreen 200 and BonaKemi water based floor finish. Both are low VOC products that cover well and provide a more healthy indoor environment.
